My husband and I were out this morning when we saw a hawk in flight.
He dove right in front of our van.
We think he had breakfast in his strong talons.
Majestic.
Beautiful.
Powerful.
I watched him race across the air.
Nature is harsh, even brutal
It is also beauty
Etched into the moment.

We see many hawks here too. Notorious for getting the chickens and a few weeks ago tried to get our 5 lb. dog. Not good. Thank God I was close by and scared it as it swooped to get her. Blessings, Dianntha
